Before you book
Scuba diving and snorkelling can cause serious injury or death, even with care and even in a pool. The risks include drowning, blacking out on a breath-hold, pressure injuries to the ears, sinuses and lungs, decompression illness, sudden illness in the water, panic, gear problems, cold, sea conditions, boats and marine life. Nothing is charged when you ask. Your booking is confirmed when you pay Mim's Square invoice. Cancel 24 hours or more before: a credit for the full amount (valid 12 months, transferable). Under 24 hours or a no-show: that session is forfeited (substitutes welcome, see Terms 7.4). If we cancel for any reason, you choose a new date, a credit or a full refund. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If the person taking part may not be able to understand our risk warning, because of their age or a disability, a parent, guardian or carer must read it for them before the session. For an adult participant, that person must also come with them to the session and be at the briefing. They don't have to watch the session.
